この数年間いろんなかたちのダイバシティ（多様性）をテーマにした会に参加してきました
In the last several years there have been events that have held with the theme of “Diversity”.

どのイベントもとても有意義なものでしたが、その多様性に溢れる社会の実現のために最も必要なのは、関心のない大多数の層へ届けること、またその大多数の無関心層の理解だという事を痛感していました
All previous events were meaningful, but I’m afraid what is most necessary for realizing a society full of diversity is to convey the feelings and thoughts to the people who do not care or the people who aren’t concerned.

今までやってこなかったことをいきなりマジメに取り組むのはちょっとハードルが高い、というのが正直な大多数の層の本音ではないでしょうか？
“To suddenly get serious and do something that I am not familiar with is without a doubt a high turdle to overcome” must be something that’s on everyone’s mind.

そこで楽しみながら言葉や文化の違ういろんな国籍を持つ人や、多様な障がいのある人々と関わってみながら一緒に協力しながら競技に取り組めば、みんながそれぞれにとっての自然なかたちで関わり方を探すきっかけになるのでは？と思い、やっと第１回目を開催いたします
“But with various nationalities of different languages and cultures, or people with diverse disabilities banding together to work as one to compete against others, wouldn’t that be the most natural form to engage and make new friends?” is what I thought, hence the creation of the First Annual Earth Sports Day!

そもそも教育の中で関わる機会を与えられずに大人になってから多様性と言ってもハードルが高い
社会の中でみんなが自然に関わる交差点のような地点もない仕組みになってしまっている
私たちはまず、多様な個性が交わる交差点となりたいと考えています
During our academic education we weren’t given the opportunity to participate in diversity, and when we become an adult we’ve suddenly been asked to become diverse, but this is a tough hurdle to overcome. Even in society there is no oppotunity for a time or place for us to naturally become engaged and embrace that diversity that everyone’s been speaking of. Because of that, I would like us to become that point where everyone with diverse backgrounds will intersects in its most natural form.

参加した皆さんが昨日より少しだけ多様なバックグラウンドや個性を持つ人々との距離が縮まったと思える明日に出会えるきっかけになることを信じて、一緒に楽しみたいと思います！
I hope that you’ll be looking forward to the day where as we enjoy ourselves at the event you’ll get to know someone better and become closer like friends even if your backgrounds and characters are different from others!

明日がより豊かになるきっかけと学びを、共に楽しみながらゆっくり見つけていけたら嬉しいです！
I would like us to enrich ourselves as we enjoy ourselves tomorrow!
とにかくまず楽しみましょう！

来年3月に墨田体育館で300人前後規模の運動会開催予定です！
Next year, we aim to be hold the next Earth Sports Day in Sumida Gymnasium with 300 people during March!

※オリンピックイヤーに競技場を貸し切りで市民が主役の運動会フェスティバルまで持っていきます！
※ Let’s aim during the Olympic Year we will reserve a stadium and host an athletic festival where everyone will be in the spotlight!

６月４日（日）13:00〜17:00に開催いたします
Date: June 4th (Sunday) 13:00-17:00

（交流会はおそらくもう少し遅くまで19:00くらいまでやってます）
(Depending on the time, an after-party may be held)
（体育館にて開催のため、雨天決行）
(The event will be held in the gym, so the Sports Day will commence even if raining)
運動会終了後に交流会を同会場にて開きます！
The after-party will be held in the same location after the Sports Day event has ended.

交流会参加費：500円（是非とも参加してほしいので激安にしています！飲み物・食べ物あります！）

私たちは、ガーナの自立支援活動を行う団体です。
「Enije」とはガーナ語で「楽しむ」、「喜び」や「幸福」を意味するものです。 その言葉の通り、「楽しむ」事を通してガーナの自立支援につながること をひとつでも多く生み出せたらと願っています。
国や人種、宗教、価値観、またそれぞれが置かれた境遇を越えて、一人ひとりが求める幸せをかたちにしていくことが、私たちのミッションです。
私たちはいま学校建設に従事していますが、学校をつくることが最終目的ではなく、教育する側の教育をすすめ、そこに通う子供たちの可能性が広がる環境をつくりたいのです。
